The next Baker Lodge work party will be held on the weekend of October 4-6, 2024. Lodge work parties are a great opportunity to come together as a team of like-minded Mountaineers in one of the most beautiful settings in the Cascades. This year's tasks include brush-cutting, painting, cleaning, light carpentry, and more.
Participants do not need prior experience or skill to register and join the work party. After registering, you will be contacted by the organizer, who will share more information about anticipated tasks and what tools you may want to bring.
Lodging is free for volunteers, and meals will be provided from Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast. The main body of work will be done Saturday. You can stay or plan your own activities on Sunday after breakfast is done and the lodge is clean and ready for the next event.

Do you have specific construction skills from home ownership or your profession? We hope you'll share them with us! Using your skill to make a lasting impact on the future of the lodge is a great feeling, and particularly satisfying to return to the lodge - year after year - and witness how what you've built or completed is still in use or improved over time. Work parties are also a great way to learn how the lodge operates and get to know the volunteers who lead the lodge committee.
