THEY SAID GET A LIFE: I GRABBED A CAMERA AND HIT THE ROAD
FEB 12, 2020 | 7PM
Join Matthew Romcevich on his year sabbatical taking photos across the world.
Travel opened Matt's eyes to a world bigger than himself and continues to remind him that different is divine, strange is sensational, and challenges are life defining. Twice Matt decided to step away from the prescribed path, to follow his own compass on two epic road trips. The first trip, driving the length of the Pan-American Highway from the tip of South American up to the Arctic ocean in Alaska, taught him to go with the flow, and planted the photography seed within him. The second journey, living the rubber tramp life in a small trailer while touring the US and Canada, taught Matt to not wait to make course corrections, to appreciate our public lands, and morphed photography from a hobby into a career.
