How did you get involved with The Mountaineers?
I was looking for a youth program that could teach me how to climb and stumbled upon the Mountaineers Adventure Club.
What motivates you to get outside with us?
I just love climbing and the people you meet, and experiences you gain on mountaineers trips are amazing.
What's your favorite Mountaineers memory?
I'd have to say my climb of the SW rib of SEWS, it was the first alpine multi pitch I had ever done and you just can't beat the views from Washington Pass.
Who/What inspires you?
Renan Ozturk, my dream is to make a living off of my photography and his work was some of the first that really got me stoked to get after it.
What does adventure mean to you?
Adventure is to get out and do something with an unknown ending.
Lightning Round
Sunrise or sunset? Sunrise.
Smile or game face? Smile.
Desired Superpower? Telekinesis.
Post-adventure meal of choice? I have a bad tendency to try new things after long trips in the backcountry but if i'm smart about it would be a big plate of fries and a milkshake.
If you could be a rock star at any outdoor activity overnight, what would it be? Skiing, that way I can cut out the painful part of alpine climbs and have fun going both directions.
