The Mountaineers has added a new Holiday Gear Grab to our annual used gear sales! Come search for holiday gifts, treat yourself to something special, or sell your own used gear. Summer, winter, and all-season gear is welcome. The Gear Grab is open to all at the Seattle Program Center from 6-8pm on Monday, December 6.
All in the outdoors community are welcome to buy or sell gently used gear at this event. You may not find exactly what you need, and you may go home with something you didn't know you'd need, but you'll definitely find a treasure-trove at our Gear Grab.
Please bring cash or have the Venmo app handy for payment.
WANT TO sell gear?
Email garretta@mountaineers.org with your name to get on the list to sell your gently-used outdoor gear. You may only sell outdoor gear, and gear needs to be in reasonable shape and still be safe to use (i.e. no used climbing harnesses or ropes). Sellers may request one 6' table or choose to split half of a 6' table with another seller. And act fast - anyone can sell, but space is limited. Ensure your spot by RSVPing for the event.
PLEASE NOTE WE ENCOURAGE 10% OF PROCEEDS FROM GEAR SALES TO BE DONATED TO THE MOUNTAINEERS.
BUY BOOKS
The Mountaineers Bookstore will be open during our Gear Grab. Members save 20% on Mountaineers books and Green Trails maps. This is the perfect opportunity to snag a great read or instructional guide, pick up that NW Forest or Discover Pass you've been putting off buying, or load up on some Mountaineers swag.
