Whether you’re a seasoned outdoorsperson or just starting your journey with The Mountaineers, you won’t want to miss this special crossover event: our annual Holiday Gear Grab & Meet The Mountaineers info session happening at the Seattle Program Center on Tuesday, December 17!
Holiday Gear Grab: 6-8pm
Join us at 6pm for our annual Holiday Gear Grab. The Gear Grab is open to both members and nonmembers who would like to buy or sell gently used outdoor gear. You may find exactly what you're looking for or go home with something you didn't know you'd need. Either way, you'll explore a treasure trove of cool outdoor gear, right in time for the holidays!
If you wish to shop, come on by between 6-8pm, no registration necessary.
If you would like to be a seller at this year's Holiday Gear Grab, please fill out our seller sign up form, and remember to read the seller guidelines. Setup starts at 5:30pm.
Meet the Mountaineers: 7-8:30PM
Starting at 7pm, new members are invited to attend this month's Meet The Mountaineers information session.
The 90-minute seminar consists of a brief meet and greet with other new Mountaineers, then a presentation covering our history, an overview of our courses and activities, and website tips and tricks. The session will end with a short Q&A and folks will have optional time to stay and mingle or ask additional questions. You do not need to be a member to attend. All are welcome!
Parking and Transportation
Parking is abundant and free at our Seattle Program Center. We also have bike racks, and the bus #75 stops right out front our building. Please note that we advise against leaving valuables in your car in Magnuson Park.
