Olympia Mountaineers - join our 2019 Photo Contest Committee! Our branch photo contest not only gives recognition to our amazing photographers, but the entries are used throughout the year at our branch events (including our branch banquet). Our last photo contest was in 2017 - help us refresh our photo library and discover the hidden talents of our fellow Mountaineers!
The committee will oversee all aspects of the photo contest, including:
- Determining categories
- Recruiting entries
- Organizing entries
- Judging and making awards
- Recognizing contest winners
- Preparing the new slide show for debut at our annual banquet
Our photo contest helps to bring attention to everything that our branch does, including our conservation and stewardship efforts, volunteerism, engaging youth programs and activities, and educating folks on how to get outside safely and responsibly. It exemplifies all that makes us unique and happy to call ourselves Mountaineers.
