Built in 1938, Meany Lodge is home to a thriving ski community. We provide a family friendly atmosphere similar to the huts in Europe. Our ski school is nationally recognized, and all instructors are Mountaineers who have received formal ski instructor training. Our instructors are volunteers, who want to share their joy of skiing and help you meet your goals.
If you have never skied before, Meany has a beginner area with a groomed slope. It's a great place learn, where you can feel in control on your first skiing adventure. If you have skiing experience, but want to gain more confidence and improve, Meany has a dedicated group of instructors just waiting for you to join them.
The school offers classes for all ages and all abilities. Check out our downhill, lift assisted backcountry, cross country, and a skate skiing options.
