We’re looking forward to getting back to a more “normal” season at Meany Lodge with overnight guests! Registration is open now.
Meany Lodge is a small private ski lodge near Stampede Pass, with groomed and ungroomed snow on a variety of terrain served by a rope tow. Our ski school offers lessons in alpine and uphill backcountry skiing, as well as guided snowshoe and cross-country ski treks. We offer our overnight guests a cozy bunk (bring your sleeping bag!) and all meals and snacks prepared fresh by our volunteer cooks. Visit the lodge page online to register and get information about parking passes, suggested gear, and much more.
To safely host overnight guests this year, a set of rules and policies have been implemented:
vaccine and mask Requirements
- All visitors to Meany Lodge (committee and guests) must be fully vaccinated according to CDC guidelines. Boosters are encouraged. Unfortunately, this means we can’t host children under 5 overnight this year.
- Before arriving, all visitors must send a copy of their vaccine credentials to meanycovidvax@outlook.com.
- Masks are required in the lodge when not eating, drinking, or sleeping.
-
Masks are required on the Tom Cat ride transporting guests from the parking lot to the lodge.
Lodge and Ski/Snowboard Lesson Guidelines
- All lodge visitors must sign up ahead of time. No drop-ins permitted.
- Dorms are open to all and are not gender specific. Families are encouraged to sleep together in “pods.”
- Meals will be served in shifts inside the lodge, with options to eat inside or in our shelter with patio heaters.
- Winter sports lessons must be scheduled and paid for in advance. No drop-ins permitted.
Occupancy and Availability
- The maximum number of overnight guests is 55.
- The maximum number of day use guests is 45.
- We will open Friday night again, like in the good old days.
- We will be open Dec 27-Jan 2, and then every weekend until March 13.
