10 ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS:
What first brought you to The Mountaineers?
I lost a few hiking buddies and had recently climbed Mt. Rainer to 13,000ft. I was hooked and wanted to learn the proper skills.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE MOUNTAINEERS MEMORY?
Talking to some of the leaders about their mountaineering experience.
WHO/WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
I’m inspired by people who are not afraid to face their fears, who will say yes, who after a lot of tough encounters display resilience. I want to inspire people to pursue what brings them joy, especially when mountaineering is not always accessible to everyone.
WHAT DOES ADVENTURE MEAN TO YOU?
Novelty is a human need, along with exploration, a certain level of risk, and not knowing the outcome.

Smile or game face? Smile
What's your 11th Essential? My insulin pump
What’s your happy place? On top of a summit
Post-adventure meal of choice? A really greasy burger
If you could be a rockstar at any outdoor activity overnight, what would it be? Summiting Mt. Rainer
