10 ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS:
WHAT first brought you to the mountaineers?
Proximity to mountains was the biggest motivation to move to Washington. Mountaineers programs, its collective knowledge, and the opportunity to connect with other like-minded people were some of the reasons to join The Mountaineers.
WHy do you like getting OUTSIDE WITH US?
Only one reason... pure awesomeness of leaders!
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE MOUNTAINEERS MEMORY?
More than a dozen times I sat on the rock outcrops and looked up longingly at the Haystack, wondering how does the world look from up there! Every hike to Mount Si stoked my curiosity.
Taking in the scenery from the top of the Haystack is my favorite Mountaineers memory. The whole experience was made special by the Alpine Geek aka Travis Precott! His down-to-earth attitude, willingness to help others, and easy disposition make every trip memorable.
WHO/WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Our incredibly beautiful planet, Sir David Attenborough, Reinhold Messner, Richard Feynman, and Calvin Hobbs!
WHAT DOES ADVENTURE MEAN TO YOU?
Adventure is the spirit of exploration. Adventure is stepping into the unknown. Adventure is a personal journey inwards and outwards. Adventure is pushing the comfort zone to make space for growth. Adventure is living with a sense of wonder and openness to the unexpected. Adventure is to take the risk of failure.
