Olympia Mountaineers Used Gear Sale - Feb 6

Join us Feb 6, 2020 for the annual Olympia Used Gear Sale! The sale is timed to take place after the first climbing and scrambling classes of 2020. Students will learn what gear and equipment they need and can bring their own shopping list to find bargains, and everyone is welcome to buy and sell!

• Feb 6, 2020 6:30-8:30pm
• Lacey Community Center (6757 Pacific Ave SE, Lacey)

Buyers

• The events is free and open to the public
• Arrive by 6:30 when doors open to get a view of all the goods
• You do not  need to register to attend
• Bring cash for payment. Some vendors will accept checks or online payments (Venmo, Paypal), but not all.

Sellers

• Must be a member of The Mountaineers
• Must sign up at the Volunteer Link. Registration opes Dec 31, 2019
• We have space for  a maximum of 30 sellers
• Items are restricted to equipment and gear that can be used on Mountaineers activities: hiking and backpacking, climbing, scrambling, sea kayaking, winter travel, etc.
• Kids and adult items are welcome
• Sellers will be allowed into the Community Center at 5:30pm for set up
• Bring a variety of bills to make change
• All unsold items must be removed by 9pm
• There is no charge for a space, but contributions to a donation box will be accepted. Donations will help offset the cost of renting the room.
