Anne Smart just stepped down as chair of the Photography Committee after serving for over 8 years. She has been a member since 1993 and is our featured member for the month of December.
Anne first attended a basic photography class in 1993, then joined shortly afterward. At first, she started volunteering to do a bit of everything, but then she starting working on the planning for the basic photography course. That lead to becoming an instructor in the course and a coordinator of the field trips.
Some of Anne's favorite things to photograph are light and landscapes, which is evident in the photos she shows at the monthly Photography Committee potlucks.
Anne says she is usually inspired by something she read or by attending a presentation of a really inspiring photographer.

Attend our monthly potluck, which is the third Wednesday of each month. We socialize and share food, then we have announcements and show photos of what we have seen during the past month or year.
