Gone for nearly 40 years, the Western Bluebird had completely disappeared from the San Juan Islands. But local bird lovers are bringing them back.

Join us on March 12 as Kathleen Foley, is a naturalist and stewardship manager with the San Juan Preservation Trust, tells the story of how bird lovers are helping reintroduce the once-common bluebird to the Garry oak ecosystem on the islands.

No reservation is required for this event but you can add this lecture to your profile by signing up here. The lecture will be $5 at the door. The lecture will begin at 7pm.

The lecture is presented as part of the Seattle Naturalist Lecture series hosted by the Seattle Branch Naturalist Committee.
