Jeff Bergeson got involved in the Mountaineers when he decided that he was going to be a landscape photographer. He wanted to find like-minded people. He gets outside and takes photos to escape from daily life for a while. He works hard to get awesome shots just right.
Jeff's favorite memory from The Mountaineers Seattle Photography Committee is from 2011, when he went on a field trip to Glacier National Park. He really enjoyed all the comradery, making it a really great trip!

On the technical side, all things about equal, Jeff's strength is his patience in waiting for a shot to develop. Whether it's lighting or something else important for the shot. He's definitely not a "pray and spray" shooter!
While Jeff is more of a follower, he did lead photography trips in the past under the leadership of a former chair, Sunny Walker.
