Eric Radman, a local event and people photographer based on Mercer Island, recently spent two weeks in Ethiopia, photographing the tribes of the South Omo River Valley, near the South Sudan border.

We will be taking photos using our smart devices (iPhone, Android, Windows, iPad, or tablet). This is an opportunity to focus on composition and explore photography apps (camera and processing). See how creative you can get using your device!

This is a weekend event at Baker Lodge. You can signup for both Friday and Saturday or just one night. During Saturday will be an organized snowshoe photography activity.
April 8, 2017 | Basic Photography Course (Seattle Program Center)
4/23/17 Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge
Leader: Anita Elder; Co-Leader: Eric Smith
This will be a combination activity between photography and exploring nature. Eric will help identify what we will be photographing while photographers can help naturalists take better photos.

The new marketfront will be have a grand opening the week before this event, so there will be new things to photograph on this trip! We'll arrive an hour before the official start time while the vendors are still setting up.
October 1, 2017 | Chain Lakes Loop Day Hike & Photography
Leader: Shawn Awan
Stunning day hike includes several alpine lakes; views of Mt Shuksan and Mt. Baker; starts and ends at Artist Point. There will be other hikes available this weekend as part of the weekend event.

Monthly Potluck Social & Photo Presentations
We invite everyone to come check us out at our monthly potlucks where we share food, socialize and show what we have been photographing. Eating/socializing starts at 6:30pm and announcements/photo sharing starts at 7pm. Please bring food to share.
If you wish to share photos at the potlucks, you may share up to 8 images. Each image should be 72 dpi and roughly 1024 x 768 pixels. Bring your images on a thumb drive for transfer to the club computer.
If you don’t have a program like Photoshop to resize your images, you can do it at a free site like Resize Image.
