Singles Activities Committee takes its first steps
The organizing meeting of the New Tacoma Singles Activities Committee was a great success. Seventeen enthusiastic people joined to enjoy a potluck meal and good fellowship, and begin planning the structure and activities for this new committee. Dick Hayek and Darin Stavish were chosen as Co-Chairs, and an Executive Committee was selected consisting of Dick and Darin, Michael Bjornberg, Katie Cornejo, and Sabrina O'Donnell.
Get Involved
It was decided that there will be monthly committee meetings from 6:30-8:30pm on the first Thursday of each month starting February 1. Meetings will be held at the Tacoma Mountaineers Program Center and are open to all Tacoma Mountaineers members.
At the February 1 meeting, we will plan our first activities, which may start with day hikes on Saturdays in March. If you would like to be involved in planning the activities schedule, please join us for meetings!
