About the speaker:

Eileen Stark is a Portland-based author, eco-landscape designer, consultant, nature writer, and photographer whose academic background includes biology, wildlife ecology, and landscape design. Her highly acclaimed book, Real Gardens Grow Natives: Design, Plant, and Enjoy a Healthy Northwest Garden, helps guide Pacific Northwest gardeners west of the Cascades in designing for both beauty and biodiversity.
