Wild in Seattle | Book Talk

Join us at the Burke Museum to celebrate the publication of Wild in Seattle: Stories at the Crossroads of People and Nature with author David B. Williams and illustrator Elizabeth Person. The book launch celebration will feature conversation with Williams and Person as they discuss the stories behind the stories, a brief Q&A, opportunity to purchase a copy of the book and get it signed, as well as time to enjoy the first floor Culture is Living and Northwest Native Art galleries.

Wild in Seattle features more than 40 essays diving into the geology, animals, plants, and architecture that shape Seattle, fully illustrated by celebrated local artist Elizabeth Person, and includes fun and fascinating sidebars that explore regional vocabulary, scientific terms, and Indigenous language phrases.

ELIZABETH PERSON is known for her unique map illustrations, informational art and Northwest themes.
