Day Hike - Beer Sheva Park to South Day Park via Seward Park

Meet at 9:30 a.m. at Beer Sheva Park, a small waterfront park at the intersection of S. Henderson and Seward Park Ave. S. in the Rainier Beach neighborhood. We'll meet at the park sign. Since this is a one-way hike, we recommend taking public transit to the park. The route 7 Metro bus serves this area, starting from downtown. At the end of the hike, you'll find route 27 Metro bus heading back to the city center.

Be sure to bring lunch to enjoy at Seward Park.

This hike is part of Kathy Biever's (206-902-6663, eskay39@comcast.net) and Julie Miller's (206-239-8565, miller.jz@comcast.net) Circumambulating Lake Washington Hikes Series. This is the final hike of seven, which will complete our circuit of the lake.

The hike will start at Beer Sheva Park and end at South Day Street Park. Following the lake shoreline, we'll enjoy stops at Martha Washington Park and Pritchard Beach before taking the loop trail around Seward Park. Continuing our hike along the western lake shore, we'll enjoy several waterfront park gems and outstanding views before reaching our final destination.
