Big Snow Mountain

A long, challenging scramble to a remote peak in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness near Snoqualmie Pass. Climb the broad northeast ridge of Big Snow Mountain after hiking or biking the Old Middle Fork Road Trail and scrambling up to Hardscrabble Lakes. It's 16 miles round trip and 5,300 feet of elevation gain.

As of 2017, the Snoqualmie Ranger District considers Mountaineers trips and courses to be "nominal use". Leaders should print and copy this designation letter to show rangers they may see on trail or carry a digital copy on their phone.
