Steph Abegg's Adventures in B.C.

Steph Abegg will show photos from two of her favorite Summer 2016 climbing destinations. The first half of her presentation will focus on a spectacular week in the Bugaboos, where she and her climbing partner Jon Pobst climbed four Bugaboo classic 5.9-5.10 routes: Beckey-Chouinard on South Howser Tower, Northeast Ridge of Bugaboo Spire, Sunshine Crack on Snowpatch Spire, and Surf's Up on Snowpatch Spire. For the second half of her presentation, she will show photos from a three-day trip to the Nesakwatch Spires, a little-known gem of an area in southwest BC just over an hour's drive from Bellingham. From their gorgeous basecamp in Nesakwatch Basin, she and Will Surbur climbed to the three main summits: Mt. Rexford via the West Ridge (5.6), North Nesakwatch via Dairyland (a newish and awesome 5.10d route on the steep west face), and South Nesakwatch via the SW Ridge (5.9). Come and be inspired!
