Brad Peacock

Foothills Past Chair

Brad joined The Mountaineers in 2018 and volunteered at the branch level with administrative tasks. He really took off with the club in 2020-2021, when the pandemic kept him from traveling every week. He was able to take courses in sea kayaking, canyoning, scrambling, avalanche awareness, and much more. He is a Hike, Trail Run, Urban Walk, and Basic Snowshoe leader. In 2022, he was elected Chair-Elect for the branch, became Chair for FY23 & FY24 and served through Aug 2024, and then accepted a role as Past Chair.

His favorite hike, which he just completed for the fist time in Oct-2023, is Yellow Aster Butte. The most memorable trail run he's done is the Trail of Ten Falls in Silverton Falls State Park in Oregon - it really passes 10 waterfalls! Finally, he has been on one Global Adventure with the club in Patagonia...memory of a lifetime.

Brad lives with his wife, Edana, and his two daughters who periodically join him on trail runs and urban walks (if he promises hot chocolate afterwards).
