IMPORTANT: Route change due to trail closure. Winter Trail Running Conditioning Course runs from 4-6 miles. You will need to complete 2 course runs per month over Dec, Jan and Feb to graduate.

Meet at East Sunset Trailhead at 6:00am.  Ready to run by 6:10 am.  

We will run at an easy conversational pace with power hiking uphill and running flat and down sections.  We will run as a group. Expected total time is 1 hour 15 minutes.

Parking pass: not required for East Sunset TH.

Please wear layers of breathable, technical clothing suitable for outdoor aerobic activities for this course's activities.

  • Waterproof jacket, hat, buff, gloves, sunglasses; running-specific gaiters recommended
  • Warm mid-weight layer (e.g. down vest or wool long sleeve)
  • Trail running shoes
  • A small day pack suitable for trail running
