Meet at 6:00 AM at Sky Country Trailhead, ready to run.
The gate is probably still closed at that time and you can park on the side of the street (166th Way SE). In that case we meet by the gate, before the trailhead parking lot.
There are bathrooms at the trailhead.
Let's get Wednesday started right and enjoy the hills, rocks and roots at Cougar Mountain! We will start early, in the dark (please bring appropriate gear, including a headlamp, waist lamp or the like) and run for 6+ miles and with 1200+ ft of elevation gain.
This time we plan on running towards Wilderness Peak, head down Wilderness Cliffs Trail, then return to Sky Country. Here is the anticipated route: https://www.strava.com/routes/3281688152656351668
(Of course, we may change the route based on group preference, but it won't really be longer or steeper than what's specified above.)
Expect to run as a group, talk and have fun. There are also opportunities to push yourself on those hills, too, if you like. It will be great.
