COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Intermediate Glacier Travel module will introduce you to steeper snow and glacier routes, and provide the skills for planning and executing an intermediate-level glacier climb. In addition, the course covers the basics of solo, two-person rope team self-rescue on glacier climbs.

- 2 pickets with runner or cable

- 2 double runners
- 25' of 6mm nylon cordalette
- Guide style belay device
- Rescue pulley
- Hero Loop

- 2nd 25' 6mm nylon cordalette (5.5 spectra, 7mm nylon acceptable)
- Climbing Rope (rated for half or twin)
- Microtraxion or equivalent
- Ice Screw, 17cm
- Ice Axe with hammer head
