Calling all women outdoor adventurers! Mark your calendar for an evening to learn about women-specific outdoor clothing and gear, hygiene management, and dispel common safety concerns. We'll deep dive into the pros and cons of common backpacking gear, tips to lighten your load, and strategies to be happier and healthier on the trail. Teen daughters and supportive partners of a woman who is registered for the seminar are also welcome to attend as long as they participate from a single account.

This seminar will be held on zoom, and will start promptly at 6:30PM, going till 8:30PM.  The link to join the zoom session will be sent to all registered participants a week before the session.

We'll deep dive into the pros and cons of common backpacking gear, tips to lighten your load, and strategies to be happier and healthier on the trail. 
Your event leader has proudly covered thousands of trail miles over multiple decades on adventures around the globe. (and guided many right here at home in all seasons!) She is excited to share the gear selection criteria, tips, tricks, and lessons learned to support your adventures. No topic is off-limits in this session.
 
Women in the Mountaineers, teen daughters, and supportive partners are also welcome to attend as long as they participate from a single account.
 
NOTE:  While this seminar is aimed primarily toward women early in their backpacking journey, participants should have basic familiarity with backpacking. This will not be comprehensive coverage of backpacking gear and skills but will focus primarily on women-specific topics.
