March GoHike Pacing Urban Walk: 2 - 4 miles, 0 - 750 feet gain (optional). - Washington Park Arboretum

This is a fun walk along Lake Washington on Foster Island, Marsh Island, the Montlake Cut and the Arboretum Loop Trail. We will likely see eagles and marine birds, and the boathouse that inspired the movie "Boys In The Boat". GoHike Urban Walks are outings of at least two miles or longer that take place on city or suburban streets, parks or greenbelts. GoHike Pace Walks are low-stress urban walks designed to help you determine where you are in terms of gear, the pace (1.5 - 2 mph) and distance you can complete comfortably. These trips are designed to assist you in developing your goals for conditioning and hiking, so that you can determine what level of walks or hikes and pace would be the best fit for you to sign up for - no pressure, no judgment!
