September GoHike Urban Walk: 4 to 8 miles, 750 to 2,000 feet gain (optional) - Elliott Bay Trail

This a fun walk along the Seattle Waterfront beginning at the Expedia Public Parking Garage to the Olympic Sculpture Park, and the new Waterfront Park. There will be views of ferries, the Olympic Mountains, Mt Rainier, and Seattle landmarks. GoHike Urban Walks are outings of at least two miles or longer that take place on city or suburban streets, parks or greenbelts.

Meet at the Expedia public parking garage (1201 Alaskan Way W, Seattle, WA 98101) at 8:45 am ready to walk at 9:00 AM. There are limited parking spaces at the Expedia Public Garage - plan accordingly. The nearest restroom is 15 minutes into the walk - plan accordingly.

The walk is on primarily flat pavement/asphalt along the water likely with a breeze from the water. The pace will be 2.0-2.5. Bring poles for balance as needed. Walkers will stay together as a group.
