Caltopo is a great resource to print, edit, and view maps. They have a free and paid version allowing you to print detailed and scalable maps of an area of your choosing. Caltopo allows you to set routes, tracks, view sharable tracks, and a wide array of features to aid you in your journey.
Green Trails
Green trails is the defacto hardcopy map resource in the Northwest. They offer waterproof, tear resistant, and solar powered maps with clear details and scalable maps.
- The downside to physical maps is that they can be out dated with new trails not being added or old trails being removed. They also don't show climber or scrambler routes.
national geographic
National Geographic is offering their free, detailed, and scalable maps through an easy to use interface.
