FTH Snowshoe "Meeting-Lite" /Social

We have a very pressing task ahead of us this fall- The Basic Snowshoe Course will need instructors and volunteers to assist with the behind the scenes administration. I am hoping that by gathering, we can create vitality and enthusiasm for offering the course to new "Chionophiles"- the word is derived from the Greek word chion meaning "snow", and -phile meaning "lover"!

If you haven’t already, please consider volunteering for our Basic Snowshoe Course. We need your help to run the course or help with a field trip.

Our little Foothills Snowshoe Committee sure could use some help. I am hoping to have enough people to each take on one small task of the whole project. You don’t need years of experience to contribute. Our committee meets only one evening for a couple of hours every three months, along with this yet to be scheduled social. I have put in a request to book a space at Zeek’s Pizza in Sammamish for Tues, Sept 17 at 5:30. Zeek’s Pizza is great for being friendly to a wide variety of dietary needs and I hear the beer is good.
