We will explore the Bear Gap vicinity.
Ski steeper terrain and longer skinning opportunities. Practice efficient transition from uphill travel to skiing down.
Should already be able to competently ski blue runs at a ski resort.
We will answer questions on equipment use. Practice efficient uphill travel. Practice with our avalanche transceivers.

Required Equipment
Backcountry skis and bindings or split snowboard. The binding system must allow the heel to be unlocked and the toe to pivot for uphill climbing with skins. No cross-country skis.
Avalanche transceiver that displays distance and direction, shovel and probe.
