Backpacking Skills Mini Clinic - Private Residence
Experienced family backpackers will unpack their packs to show the gear that they take for a successful family trip. Participants will bring their packs packed to the best of their abilities and review what changes in gear would work for their families. For adults but older kids welcome.

Location will be sent to you prior to event.
The first part of this seminar leaders will show you how they pack their pack for a backpack trip with kids and how the accompanying child would pack their pack.
The second half, participants in small groups will show what gear they have to meet their family backpacking goals and develop a list of what changes or improvements they would like to make.
This is a great chance to get ready for your first family backpack.
Older kids are welcome but they must be registered.
Required Equipment
Your backpacks packed ready for a family backpacking trip. Both adult and kid backpacks are appropriate!
