Friends Meeting House, 3201 Boston Harbor Rd NE, Olympia, WA 98506

Driving directions: From I-5, take Exit 105B, Port of Olympia, which feeds into Plum Street, which becomes East Bay Drive, which becomes Boston Harbor Road.  Friends Meeting House is on left, just past Flora Vista Road and the northernmost entrance to Squaxin Park.

Ten essentials: clothing, gear and a snowshoer's day pack; Snowshoes: types, adjustment and use; Choice of routes (avalanche avoidance); Trail etiquette and what to expect on the field trip.  If you have snowshoes, poles and/or boots, bring them to class.
