Mountaineers Adventure Club - Olympia

MAC Membership is $525 for the year. A $75 deposit is required for your first month. The remainder can be paid in full, or in monthly installments. 

Mountaineers Adventure Club (MAC) is a year-round course, focused on teaching climbing and backcountry skills to teens age 14-18. Teens meet monthly to plan trips and practice skills, and then we head outdoors for 1-2 weekend trips per month. Teens have the opportunity to choose and plan their own trips, and decide their goals for the year. We will plan out the year's worth of trips at the first meeting in October. Activities include mountaineering, rock climbing, cross-country skiing, hiking and backpacking, snowshoeing, snow camping, cycling, and more. 

Members are not required to have any prior experience before joining - we will teach the skills necessary to participate.  The Mountaineers can provide most gear needed to participate in these activities.
