Family and Youth Committee Planning Meetings - Ken Lake

Both parents and youth volunteers should attend this meeting where we will discuss and plan programming for fall, early winter, and beyond. We will look at our clubs, family hiking, climbing, outreach/Mountaineers Workshops, mini-Mountaineers, and other adventures. A new idea being introduced is outdoor competencies. We are hoping to tap into the skills of all our members as our rosters of families and kids grows!

Please bring your calendars and ideas for activities, outreach, and classes.  We will be envisioning the whole year as well as focusing on developing our fall/early winter programming.

Bring a Mountaineers friend who has not helped out with youth yet!

We will meet from 6:30-8:30 and a light dinner will be provided!

These are meetings that are centered around preparations for the Olympia families and youth. This includes summer camp, youth clubs, and any other family outings that will take place throughout theyear.
