Summer Camp-Olympia

Join the Olympia Branch for a fun-filled week packed with traditional summer camp games, songs, and a heavy dose of outdoor adventure!

Kids ages 5-12 join The Mountaineers an exciting week filled with tons of outdoor activities including: climbing, hiking, map and compass training, camp cooking, wilderness first aid, fire and shelter building, and learning about our local geology and ecology.

2018 BASIC SCHEDULE

Each day of camp is from 8:30am - 4:30pm

  • Monday - Survival: A day of map and compass training, camp cooking, wilderness first aid, fire and shelter building through engaging activities.
  • Tuesday - Wing & Waves: Bring your swim gear and get ready for kayak, canoe, and water skills.
  • Wednesday - Hiking & Mountains: Use the skills learned on an engaging day-hike and learn about the local plants and wildlife.
  • Thursday - Ropes & Rocks:   A full day to learn how to rock climb, belay, tie climbing knots, and practice climbing techniques. 
  • Friday - Wilderness Rockstars: We will spend the morning hiking, followed by beach time, games, and camper awards.
