Annual Branch Picnic 2022

Get together with your Mountaineer colleagues and friends at the branch picnic at Burfoot Park, on Thursday, July 28, from 5:00 to 8:30. We'll provide the food, cold water, and simple drinks. Bring your own eating dishes and flatware and any special beverages you may want.

Picnics and northwest summer evenings are made for each other, so let’s eat and chat and enjoy nature with other Olympia Branch members and our families.  We invite you to join us for our summer picnic on Thursday, July 28. 

Again this year, the picnic will be catered and FREE, but you must RSVP to attend.  Families and dates are welcome.  Dogs, only if needed for comfort and help. And if you decide not to come, cancel your RSVP, PLEASE!

This event will be in alignment with The Mountaineers current COVID-19 guidance. Sustainability will also be practiced at the picnic, including using local and organic foods and the avoidance of waste.   

Bring these 5 items: plate, flatware, cup, favorite beverages, lawn chair.  We will have cold water and some simple beverages to share, plus a fabulous meal.  Vegetarians and vegans will be happy.

We will meet up at beautiful Burfoot Park.  The park offers a large lawn for games, beautiful walking trails through the forest, and a beachfront looking out onto Budd Inlet where some folks swim. Come early and explore this lovely local park.
