Basic Climbing Instructor Review #1

Instructor review for those who want to volunteer for the Olympia Basic Alpine Climbing class and teach Olympia Basic students. Required for those who have NOT taught at Basic in the last 3 years, recommended for all instructors. There will be an event at Dirty Dave's Pizza on February 3rd that covers the same material. In this session, we will review how we will teach skills in Basic to promote consistency between instructors. There will be an event at Dirty Dave's Pizza on February 3rd that covers the same material. Please sign up for only 1.

Only sign up for this event if you plan to volunteer at the Olympia Basic class this year. This is not a free skills practice. 

We have a lot of material to cover so we will be moving quickly. This is not the time to learn a skill you've long forgotten, so crack open Freedom and practice your knots. This review is to get everyone on the same page on how we are teaching skills at Basic as there are many "right" ways to climb, but we do not want to confuse students.
