2025 Intermediate Climbing Community Annual Mixer and Recap
A chance for us to recap the year, trade stories, hang out, and slap some backs.
XC Ski Waxing party
Join the Nordic Ski Committee for a ski waxing party. We will wax together and share tips and techniques. This is not an instructional clinic, but if you have never waxed before, please come and learn from watching others. Or just come for the fun and camaraderie!
Basic Climbing Instructor Review #1
Instructor review at the Friends Meeting House for those planning to volunteer with the Olympia Basic Alpine Climbing Course. Attendance is required if you have not instructed at Basic within the last three years, and strongly recommended for all instructors due to updates based on the latest edition of Freedom of the Hills. We are offering two instructor review sessions on January 5 and 6, 2026, and you only need to attend one. This session is scheduled for January 5th.

Mountaineers Table at Summit, Myths & Music Concert
An Auburn Symphony Orchestra performance featuring the world premiere of It Stands Alone by Stephen Lias, 2024 composer in residence at Mount Rainier National Park. Mountaineers volunteers will be onsite with information about our programs and community.
