More details will come in email prior to the field trip. We will meet in the Steven's Pass parking lot on the South side of the highway to the east of the main lodge complex and near the public restrooms. Meet time is 8:00am. Please be geared up are ready to go by 8:00.
This will be a full day of rolling around in the snow! We will cover snow travel on technical terrain, and what to do if you fall.
You will learn and practice these skills:
- Ascending and descending on steep snow
- Ice axe self-arrest
- Glissading
