Metz/Dittig SIG Snow Field Trip - Overnight Snow (Snow Anchors & Belays, Crevasse Rescue, Snow Camping, Roped Travel) plus scrambling. This is the Metz/Dittig Snow Field Trip. If you are not a part of the Metz/Dittig SIG please do not sign up without reaching out to Bill Dittig or David Metz first. We will consider outside applicants on a case-by-case basis as space avails.

This field trip will focus on introducing basic climbing class students to the basics of snow belays, snow anchors, crevasse rescue, traveling together on a rope, and snow camping. 

Plan on allocating both Saturday and Sunday to this endeavor.  We will determine meeting time and place as the date approaches.
