The primary goal for this trip is to get Seattle Basic Alpine Climbing students checked off on their conditioning requirement. This means hiking to the "lunch rocks" area at the top of Mount Si in less than 2 hours, carrying 20% of their body weight (minimum 25 lbs, maximum 50 lbs). The secondary goal is to get out for a night of conditioning to stay in shape for the summer climbing season.

Seattle Basic Alpine Climbing students: You have permission to sign up.

If you are not a Seattle Basic Alpine Climbing student, please wait until 4/16 to sign up. After that, if you are a climbing student from any branch, have climbed with me before, or have been on one of my conditioners before, you have permission to sign up. All others, please wait until 4/16 to use the Request Leader Permission button and tell me about recent hikes or other types of conditioning you've done.
