Are you interested in becoming a Climb Leader for the Mountaineers? Do you want to know what steps are involved, and what the qualifications are to become a Climb Leader? Join us for an informational session June 2nd. We will present what is involved in the Leadership process and there will be other Climb Leaders available for you to talk with. We are a supportive group who wishes to give you every opportunity to take the next step toward becoming a Climb Leader.
- A great source of information is the last few pages of the Intermediate course guide.
- For reference, here is the latest Climb Leader Application form.
- This flowchart shows the process leader applications go through when they are submitted.
- If you'd like some extra, totally optional reading, here's Rob Busack's personal perspective on becoming a Climb Leader.
Note: This info session is not the same as the Mountaineers full-day "Leadership Seminar," so it does not count for that on the application.
