This is an informational evening for basic alpine students, graduates and those with equivalency on how to proceed from here. We will be providing details about the intermediate modules and answer questions about being a rope leader and getting more involved with Seattle Climbing. If you are not a basic equivalent then signing up for Peter Clitherow's basic equivalency is your first step.
If you are previous intermediate student wanting to get more involved with the course we will be outlining upcoming opportunities for instructing or refreshing.
There are basic equivalency sessions scheduled for Oct 23 and November 13th.
To become a rock rope leader you must be a basic alpine climbing course graduate/equivalent and take the following courses:
- Self Rescue 1 (Feb/Mar)
- Single Pitch Trad (Mar/Apr)
- Multi pitch Trad (Apr/May)
