Course Overview

This is an in-person WFA course consisting of two days of activities at the Seattle Program Center. You may also be interested in our mixed online/in-person Hybrid WFA Course if you learn better online or prefer working individually at your own pace.

Multiple identical classes are offered on various dates throughout the winter and spring. Students register for one class.

Each in-person class consists of  two full days of hands-on training, 8am  - 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.  The class consists only of these two days of training – students do not need to do any additional work before or after.  In order to receive credit students must be present for the entire duration of both class sessions and successfully complete all class training and scenarios.

Instruction is provided by our training partner Remote Medical Training (RMT).  Upon successful completion all students will receive a Mountaineers WFA Course badge and a WFA Certificate from RMT that is good for two years.

This course posting includes only our winter and spring in-person WFA classes.  We will offer more WFA classes in the fall as a separate course that will be posted sometime in mid 2024.  We do not typically offer any WFA classes in the summer.

This course does not include CPR or AED training.

As per our contract with RMT, classes with fewer than 15 students may have to be cancelled.
