We'll meet at the Monroe Park and Ride (about 0.5 mile west of the US2 / SR522 interchange) leaving for the trailhead at 8:00 am.
Per Google, the trailhead is about a 1.0 hour drive from Monroe. Although, it's only 27 miles. So, we should be hiking by 9:30. I expect we'll back to the trailhead around 2:30 - 3:00 putting us back in Monroe around 4:00.
You're encouraged to carpool to Monroe
The trail is pretty flat for the first two miles then climbs 1,000' in 1.5 miles.
There is a kiosk about 13 miles from the US2 turnoff which we'll stop and pickup our permits. Details for this hike can be found here on the WTA site.
Trip reports state that roads and trail are in good condition.
