Field trip: Conditioning Hiking Series
CHS 1 Hike - Pine & Cedar Lakes
A initial steep climb up to a ridge with a variety of routes around the Chuckanuts. We'll visit the view from Raptor Ridge before looping Cedar Lake then lunch at Pine Lake. CHS 1 hike led at a pace of ~2.0 mph.

Plan to meet at the trailhead at 7:30am to avoid congestion as we're close to Bellingham.
The Chuckanut Mountaion Recreation Area map is a great resource for this area.
COVID protocols are loosening, but please be prepared to social distance and mask up when passing others on the trail.
New protocols allow carpooling for fully vaccinated people at the driver's discretion.
Possible post-hike socially distanced meal in Granite Falls if we can find someplace that supports outside dining. Completely optional.
