This is a long but enjoyable hike near Stevens Pass. We'll touch parts of the PCT, skirt along Glacier and Surprise Lakes then ascend to Surprise Gap and finally to the summit of Surprise Mountain with its great views of Mt Daniel and the surrounding area. In past years by late September there have been awesome fall colors near the summit.
