CHS 2 Hike - Lower Tuscohatchie Lake

CHS hike led at a CHS 2 pace (2.0-2.6 mph). A hike up the Pratt Lake trail past Pratt Lake and on to Lower Tuscohatchie. On the way back we will make a stop at Olallie Lake.

There is an outhouse at the trailhead.

Parking pass required:  Northwest Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass.

On this hike we will tour some of the beautiful lakes of the Alpine Lake Wilderness.  We will head up the Pratt Lake trail with views down to Olallie lake before we reach the turn off to head down the far side of the ridge to Pratt Lake.  We will follow the trail alongside Pratt Lake, and then make a turn to head over to Lower Tuscohatchie Lake where we will take our lunch break.  On our way back out the same way, we will take a side trail down to Olallie Lake and take another break there before heading back to the trailhead.
