CHS - North Cascades Campout - Thornton Lakes
CHS1 - North Cascades Campout. The trail starts on an old logging road from the 1960s, then ascends through technicolor green vegetation before descending to a neon blue reflective lake surrounded by evergreen trees and snow-capped mountains.

We will meet during breakfast to assemble carpools and leave the Lower Goodell Group Campground at 7:30am. It will take about 30 minutes to get to the Thornton Lakes trailhead. We should be on the trail around 8:15am.
Bring bug spray. The mosquitoes might be bad at the lakes.
